who? what? where?

My name is Richard Oganga. I moved to Washington in 2009 from Nairobi Kenya. Most of my upbringing was in Nairobi Kenya and Federal Way WA (US). It was while I was attending Federal Way High School I started to pick up the interest of photography through an elective offered there. Since graduating and furthering my education at Central Washington University I’ve spent a lot of time self educating and refining my skills in this art. The year of 2020 was when it really took off for me. I turned up my motivation and started dedicating more of my time and hard work- pushing my best foot forward and haven’t looked back since. My specialties and areas I have a passion for are hip hop, fashion and sports. As I’ve learned to make something from nothing I believe my life journey and the environment I was raised in has made me who I am today and this has a direct impact for my unique eyes and perception of photography.
